Queen Letizia of Spain continued to showcase her proclivity for sleek, sophisticated fashion statements during her visit to the Netherlands. The royal joined her husband, King Felipe of Spain, and Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands for a state banquet at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam on April 17.
For the formal occasion, Queen Letizia wore a dazzling royal blue silk gown by The 2nd Skin Co. The gown featured a crew neckline and long sleeves with bow detailing at the ends of the cuffs. The layered skirt of the dress also featured pockets. Queen Letizia opted to add a blue belt to the waist of her gown, as well.
As for her accessories, the royal wore a diamond loop tiara and traditional yellow sash with a pearl broach. Queen Letizia also wore another pendant near her waist. She completed the look with sparkling statement earrings.
Throughout her visit to The Netherlands, Queen Letizia has showcased a style sensibility that can only be described as effortlessly elegant. Among the royal’s looks for her visit, Queen Letizia opted for power dressing styles.
She wore her iteration of the power suit with a crepe jacket in black by Boss with matching trousers and black heels by Massimo Dutti for her departure from Spain to the Netherlands on Tuesday.
Upon arrival, Queen Letizia attended an event at the NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace Hotel, for which she wore a liquid-fabric maxiskirt by Boss and sling-back heels by Carolina Herrera.
Rounding out the royal’s first few looks of her trip, Queen Letizia fashioned a tweed dress by Moisés Nieto, another slingback heel by Carolina Herrera and accessorized with a statement hat that complemented the tone of her shoes.
Over the years, Queen Letizia’s style has gone through an evolution. But one element that remains is the royal’s styling of classic silhouettes and refined sartorial statements.
