The new 2024 Lexus LBX was parked in front of iconic designer brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Dior and Gucci in the heart of the city, creating a luxury showroom experience for shoppers to enjoy.
In a bold move to launch Lexus’ latest compact SUV, the brand collaborated with DDB Amsterdam to introduce the LBX in the Netherlands with a creative guerrilla stunt, setting a new standard for innovation and engagement. This move aligned the car with top luxury brands, without breaking the bank.
With premium features, at a not-so-premium price, the all-new 2024 Lexus LBX is a compact crossover, currently available, and targeting new market territory in the UK and Europe, designed for the style-conscious without compromising on Lexus’ reputation for luxury craftsmanship.
Many high-end car brands have opened huge, expensive flagship stores on luxury shopping streets. To capture attention and engage with shoppers, The Parkable Flagship Store was born—an immersive concept that outsmarted the competition by avoiding sky-high rent, offering the luxury car experience at street level. The model was nestled on Amsterdam’s most famous luxury shopping street, P.C. Hoofstraat, without the hefty price tag typically associated with such prime real estate: a perfectly fitted, premium showroom for the price of a parking space!
The store came with high-end lighting, a personal shopping assistant, complimentary coffee, and because the weather in the Netherlands could turn at any minute, there was also an umbrella service.
“In our temporary showroom,” remarked John De Wit of Lexus Netherlands, “we playfully demonstrated how Lexus offers extraordinary luxury experiences even within the compact confines of a parking space. The Lexus LBX showroom demonstrated that luxury can indeed be compact and accessible!”
After the flagship store’s successful launch, the Parkable Flagship Store will be on the move this Spring coming soon to luxury shopping streets across Europe. For more information about the Lexus LBX, head here.
