The first increase already puts pressure on the organization. The second will threaten continuity and can have significant consequences for employment.
Lobby forces united
The unions are working with Holland Casino to change decision-making in The Hague. Everything is aimed at preventing the second increase.
The government is also shooting itself in the foot. If Holland Casino is doing less well, the government will lose income and the estimated tax amount of the increase will not be achieved.
Another objective of the government is also under pressure: combating gambling addiction. This can be better achieved in a land-based casino than in other variants, which Holland Casino has been committed to since its foundation.
