AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Seneca Falls man was arrested on Wednesday and is accused of having over 14 pounds of cannabis on him at the time. Michael Gladis, 38, faces multiple charges.
On Wednesday, May 22, around noon, a car was spotted violating traffic laws on I-90 in Amsterdam, per New York State Police. After getting on State Route 30, the car was pulled over.
State Police identify the driver as Gladis. After a further investigation, police say they found over 14 pounds of raw cannabis, over three pounds of concentrated cannabis oil, several cartridges with cannabis oil in them, and a large sum of cash. Gladis was arrested.
Charges:
- First-degree criminal possession of cannabis
- Second-degree criminal possession of cannabis
- Second-degree criminal sale of cannabis (two counts)
- Vehicle and traffic law violation
Gladis was taken to Fonda State Police for processing. He was arraigned at the Amsterdam City Court and is held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility without bail.
