Haryanvi singer Sapna Choudhary’s fever has reached the Netherlands. Her iconic hit track “Teri Aakhya Ka Yo Kajal” and its infectious beats became a crowd favourite as everyone gathered to shake a leg and celebrate King’s Day. A viral clip shows locals and tourists dressed mostly in orange and dancing to the song on the streets of Amsterdam.

Every year on April 27, the Netherlands comes alive with vibrant celebrations for King’s Day, or Koningsdag, in honour of King Willem-Alexander’s birthday. This festive occasion is one of the largest and most colourful in the country, particularly in Amsterdam. Citizens don orange attire as a nod to the royal family’s name, the House of Orange (Huis van Oranje), and as a tribute to the national colour of the Netherlands.

Last week, the Bigg Boss 11 contestant shared a video of her recent dance performance at a club. In the caption, she wrote, “Grateful beyond words for the overwhelming love and support. Such an incredible show! Thank you to everyone who made it unforgettable!” Check it out below!

On the personal front, she tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Veer Sahu on 24 January 2020. On October 6, 2020, Veer revealed their secret wedding on Facebook LIVE and confirmed that the couple had become parents to a baby boy on October 4. In 2021, she got her husband’s name “Veer” tattooed on her arm and proudly showed it to the media.
