8 to 10 November

  • There are no trains between Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam Zuid. Instead, travel via Amsterdam Lelylaan or via Amsterdam Centraal.

  • All other directions (including Amsterdam Lelylaan, Leiden Centraal) will travel half the normal timetable.

Please note: Are you traveling via Amsterdam Lelylaan? Take the metro from Amsterdam Lelylaan to Amsterdam Zuid. Your NS-ticket will be valid in the metro during this period.

16 to 28 November

From Sunday 16 to Thursday 28 November there will be fewer tracks in use at Schiphol Airport. Resulting in fewer trains travelling from, to and via Schiphol Airport station.

  • Travelling between Schiphol and Almere? Travel via Amsterdam Centraal.

  • Travelling between Schiphol and Utrecht? Travel via Leiden Centraal.

  • Travelling between Den Haag Centraal and Amersfoort? Travel via Utrecht Centraal

  • Travelling between Den Haag Centraal and Amsterdam Centraal? Travel via Haarlem. (Please note: this is not possible on 24 November. On this day, you will travel via Schiphol.)

28 November to 1 December

  • There are no trains between Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam Zuid. Instead, travel via Amsterdam Lelylaan or via Amsterdam Centraal.

  • All other directions (including Amsterdam Lelylaan, Leiden Centraal) will travel half the normal timetable.

  • Trains will only depart from track 1, 2 or 3. The other tracks will be under construction.

Please note: Are you traveling via Amsterdam Lelylaan? Take the metro from Amsterdam Lelylaan to Amsterdam Zuid. Your NS-ticket will be valid in the metro during this period.

2 to 3 December

On Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 December there will be fewer tracks in use at Schiphol Airport. Resulting in fewer trains travelling from, to and via Schiphol Airport station.

  • Travelling between Schiphol and Almere? Travel via Amsterdam Centraal.

  • Travelling between Schiphol and Utrecht? Travel via Leiden Centraal.

  • Travelling between Den Haag Centraal and Amersfoort? Travel via Utrecht Centraal

  • Travelling between Den Haag Centraal and Amsterdam Centraal? Travel via Haarlem.

Tips for travelling in the region

  • Plan your journey shortly before you leave via the 9292 planner or in the 9292 app. This is always updated with the latest information.

  • Check from which platform the train departs. This may differ from the usual timetable.

  • Always enter your start and end points as precisely as possible. The planner will give alternative routes if available.
